It was a beautiful January late afternoon day in 2008 about 3pm. I believe it was a Sunday afternoon. I was just taking a stroll through Roslindale Village and came upon this working gas lantern right next to the Roslindale Congregational Church. I had to document this incredible life from the past. This working gas lantern that represents life when gas was used for early outdoor lighting. I guess it's still a working/existing gas lantern from the good ole days. According to a recent post on the Roslindale Village Main Street Facebook page. Does anyone have a clue when it was installed here?
